This is about You
Whether you believe it or not, you already have the knowledge and power to live the life you want to live. Stigma, familial and societal pressures, trauma and mental health symptoms tend be great barriers to wrapping our minds around this concept. As I bear witness to your story, I will provide useful tools and insight that will help you pave the way to healing yourself. Although I do use certain theories and techniques to structure my practice, I make sure to tailor my approach to what feels best for you and within our therapeutic relationship. I also enjoy approaching therapy sessions with decreased formality as a way to encourage a more comfortable and lighthearted experience. I use humor as appropriate and leave space for a unique and genuine relationship to develop between us. Therapy can be uncomfortable and intense, so I find this extra space to be ourselves creates a sense of ease that is incredibly beneficial.
