Step 2 of Going Within = Courage

While practicing Self-Awareness you will likely notice certain thoughts, feelings, memories, etc. that make you uncomfortable. Your natural tendency might be to distract yourself so you don't have to sit with that feeling. But there is more information and opportunity underneath the discomfort than you realize. This is where courage comes in.

Begin exploring where in your life you could use a little extra courage:

- Calling a friend when you're having a bad day?

- Asking your boss for a raise?

- Giving that romantic relationship a shot even though you are terrified of rejection?

If we want to experience things like joy, connection, creativity, and love... we must put ourselves at risk to feel sadness, pain, grief, and fear. It's scary, but well worth it.

Have the courage to live a more fulfilled life!
